We began the course with 8 members and at present we are 4 in the course. The ideal of the course developed in the novitiate (2002 –2004) as the result of deep spiritual conviction and determination. Our ideal is very much biblical and rooted in the spirituality of our community. We were inspired by the Sion Talk of our father and founder on 31 May 1967 in which he asked the members of the community to become living stones to build the foundations of the community to offer blessed mother a place to dwell. Our course ideal is also biblically rooted. We draw our ideal and mission from 1 Peter 2:1-10 where St. Peter reminds the worth of the priestly race and their call to build the church with Christ.
As priests we realize our duty to build the church and remain rock solid in times of crisis. We also understand that it is our responsibility to contribute to the foundation of our community in India. We identify ourselves as Living stones by becoming fatherly personalities and model priests. We are Living Stones of MTA; she is our Mother and educator and our inspiration. As she is temple of the Holy Spirit, We as living stones add to this temple, this temple is also identified with the shrine. We associate ourselves as Living Stones to be Rocks of faith in times of crisis as the very character of the stones is. This also calls our attention to face challenges evolving due to the development of cultural nationalism.
- We were very much part of the new shrine.
- We strive to lead an exemplary life.
- We share the responsibility for the growth of the communitythrough our pastoral activities.
- We always make ourselves available for the community activities.
