The pens are running over the pages in pin-drop silence. Our 85 students are writing their second semester exam in Schoenstatt Academy, Kuttur. The principal and the staffs are giving a good atmosphere to the students to perform their exam well and all are expecting a good result. The last exam of this semester will be on 22nd December and thereafter starts their holidays until the college re-open for the third semester on 3rd January 2017.
One day program for the catechism students of St. Joseph church, Kombazha, Thrissur was held on December 11th Sunday 2016. Rev. Fr. Joji, Assistant Vicar welcomed and introduced fr. Thejus and Fr. Jose to the students. Catechism teachers and the head master helped the students to give them a good atmosphere to make the program beneficial for them. Fr. Thejus guided the students from the standard 5th to 12th while Fr. Jose gathered the rest of the junior children up to 4th standard. There were around 65 students from the both groups. Fr. Thejus motivated the youth with his class on attitude and leadership and fr. Jose accompanied the little ones with video clips, games and stories. The lunch for the students and staff were prepared in the campus.
Three-day program for the youth was conducted in Infant Jesus Church, Kallettumkara near Aloor. It was in preparation for the Christmas celebration and also to strengthen the youth movement of the parish. The inaugural section was opened by Rev. Fr. Joy Madathumpedy, the Regional Superior of Providence Region of Schoenstatt Fathers in Kerala. Fr. Thejus led seminar for the youth around 400 hundred and Fr. Biju Parapuram, Fr. Binoi Pannel and Fr. Jose assisted him in the confession arranged for the youth.
